We have provided fencing free of charge to the Oak Park community for over four years. The Imani Foundation is currently held at the Old Park Community Center, a part of the Sacramento Park and Recreation, City of Sacramento. Park and recreation allows us to utilize the facility but we operate independent of the Park and Recreation system.
Inspired by the story of the Peter Westbrook Foundation and their success with developing National Champions, Olympic fencers and college graduates from inner city New York, the Imani Fencers Foundation was formed. Our goal is to provide a number of programs aimed at developing community oriented self-conscious individuals.
